How should I use the MPAT report?

The Mastitis Pattern Analysis Report was developed through research at QMMS and the University of Nottingham, and supported by AHDB and Innovate UK funding. The report classifies the predominant mastitis pattern on farm:

  • Environmental pattern with most new infections from the Dry Period
  • Environmental pattern with most new infections during Lactation
  • Contagious pattern

It is recommended to review the report at least QUARTERLY followed by targeted management changes.
